Epic Jewelry Upgrades
Head Blacksmith Ferris can refine epic jewellery into stronger forms using Boss Essences. Refined and Immortal versions share the same special abilities; P./M. Atk extras scale by tier (base +2%, Refined +4%, Immortal +7%). Immortal pieces have higher M. Def and Max MP, and display as Rare.

How
- Talk to Ferris → Ask about item upgrade system → Upgrade Common items (D–A grade).
- You keep your enchant when the jewel is upgraded. Any enchant, including ++, on a base epic jewel can be used for the upgrade.
- Success rate is 100%.
- Identical jewellery effects do not stack if two of the same piece are equipped.
- Necklace of Valakas cannot be upgraded — there is no Refined or Immortal version.

Boss Essences
Essences drop from the matching epic boss at 2%, independent of server drop rates. You need 1 essence per upgrade (2 total to go from basic to Immortal).
